Diarthrodial Joint

In the diarthrodial group the extensive cavity has produced great interruption in the continuity of the uniting structures which originally existed between the bones forming such a joint. Shown is a a diagram of a diarthrodial joint with an interarticular meniscus dividing the joint cavity into two compartments.
