Quay at Pressburg
Also known as Brezalauspurc, Preßburg, Pozsony, Prešporok and Bratislava, as it was renamed in 1919, has been known by many names in different languages throughout its history. In 1993, the city became the capital of the newly formed Slovak Republic. Its location on the borders with Austria and Hungary makes it the only national capital that borders two countries.
