Description: Crabs are decapod crustaceans of the infraorder Brachyura, which generally have a very short projecting tail. The body of the crab in its first larval stage is composed of short, globular portion, furnished with conspicuous long spines and a relaively long, jointed tail. This is call the zo‘a stage.
