Self Closing Faucet

This faucet includes a self closing faucet handle having an escapement mechanism in series with both a release ratchet and a slip clutch to provide ease in turning on the faucet and the option of a quick manual closing of the faucet valve. The ratchet escapement mechanism and slip clutch are all concealed within the shell of a blade handle that is rotated between the on and off positions.
