"Brevis Narratio" by Theodore de Bry (after Jaques de Moyne)

This photograph shows a publication called the, "Brevis Narratio" by Dutch engraver Theodore de Bry. The publication contains altered versions of the sketches and written descriptions of Jacques le Moyne, a French artist that created accounts for the first encounters between Europeans and Native Americans. The original artwork of le Moyne has been lost.
