Caudron G.4

Although World War I fighter aircraft often command greater attention, the most influential role of aviation in the war was reconnaissance. An early light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft, the French Caudron G.4 was principal type used when these critical air power roles were being conceived and pioneered.
