Costa Rican Doll Statue with Wood Base and Corn Husk Dress (Three Quarter View)

Handcrafted Costa Rican doll made from rough wood. Her arms are wire that is covered with corn husks. She is standing on a wood base, which also has a short wooden stump on it. "Costa Rica" is carved into the base. The lady's dress is made from corn husks, tied with a rope belt, and she has a fish net shawl over her shoulders. She has no facial features, and her hair is made from corn fibers. In one hand she is holding dried flowers, on her other arm, she has a straw basket, covered with fish net. The figure stands 15 inches (38 cm) tall.
