Dry Grassy Area at Circle B Bar Reserve

Former pasture used for cattle ranching operation at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. The land is being restored to its natural state as a wetland. The reserve is home to many species of water birds, including ospreys and bald eagles. Alligators are also plentiful. The restoration project is a joint effort by Polk County and the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
