Gas Station of the Watershed Model

Gas Station of the Watershed Model

In this photo, the gas station is shown with its underground storage tank uncovered. It is a part of the watershed model and can be used to demonstrate how both surface and groundwater can be contaminated by leaking underground storage tanks. Floods can carry hazardous materials from leaking storage tanks into the stormwater system. The model can also be used to demonstrate how leaking tanks can pollute groundwater.
