The French Altar

The French Altar

This is the French Altar. The altar is a single slab of stone, supported by three columns. There are two candles on top of the altar, and a wrought-iron lamp above the altar. There is a cross on the wall, behind the altar. The monastery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
