The Front Elevation of the Abe Rubel House

The Front Elevation of the Abe Rubel House

This is the Abe Rubel House, at 1109 Jackson Street. The house was built in 1904. The brick house is built in a Neoclassical style, with Georgian Revival influences, which is frequently called Colonial Revival in areas where English colonists predominated. The house was constructed with three bays. There is a triple arched window on the second floor of the central bay. The windows of the outer bays have flat arches. The front door is set into a three-centered arch, with sidelights and a transom.
