The Hammond House at 1004 North Fillmore Street

The Hammond House at 1004 North Fillmore Street

This is the Hammond House, also known as the Wallace House and the Boone Home, at 1004 North Fillmore Street. The house was built around 1877, in the Second Empire style. The original design was likely by James T. Calender, for the Boone family. At the time this photograph was taken, this was the location of the Corinth Realty offices. The house is painted a pale green color, and there are asphalt shingles on the mansard roof.
