The Overhanging Second Floor of the Ell

This image shows the back of the original house, the side of the ell, and the rear of the ell. The oldest portion of the house has lead quarreled casement windows, with a diamond pattern. The ell has divided windows, in a 9 over 6 square pattern, except for two 15 over 10 windows on the second floor. There is a door on the ground floor, on the side of the ell. The slightly overhanging second floor has a corner pendant. There is a large, brick chimney on the roof. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a National Historic Landmark.
