Khan Academy is a non-profit resource that is a library of instructional videos. Good learning resource for students and for teachers. It is not iinteractive

**It is important that it is downloaded as the iPhone app, otherwise an internet connection is necessary and all the videos are not downloaded at the same time.

Algebra 1, Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Statistics, Probability, and Arithmetic all contain topics relevant to middle school NGSSS.

  • Accessibility Issues: None that I found. iPad Accessibility Features: Voice Over: Yes, Voice Over works well with this app. It speaks the titles of each video. It does not interfere with playing the videos Zoom: Yes Large Text: No White on Black: No Layout: This app begins in the portrait layout only. Once you select a video, it switches to landscape to view the You Tube videos. Orientation may get frustrating switching back and forth. Without internet, the Videos will not be able to be viewed. Also, when using the school district's Wifi, You Tube is typically blocked.
