Multiple tracks are offered to meet the interest and skill levels of educators.

Florida Digital Educator - Integrating Technology

The Florida Digital Educator Integrating Technology track is for educators who desire an overview of digital tools and how they can be integrated into all subject areas. This track will explore digital storytelling with video, enhancing understanding and meaning through audio, images and their impact on cognition, podcasting as an engaging tool that strengthen learning, plus subject specific sessions. Participants will learn to use digital tools and put their new skills to work as they develop collaborative projects with a team of educators. This track is for all EETT Grant recipients unless they have attended this session previously.

Software Specifications for Laptops

Digital Video Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 - (25 Seats Available)

Participants in this track will learn the Adobe Premiere workspace, how to capture video, create multi-layered tracks, add transitions, titles, video and motion effects, as well as working with audio. Participants will export video files optimized for use on the web or with Adobe Encore to create DVDs.
(This is an advanced course and participants should have a good foundation in computer use)

Cost

The Teaching and Learning Institutes meet for four days (32 hours), Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost $500 per participant.
