Multiple tracks are offered to meet the interest and skill levels of educators.
The Florida Digital Educator Integrating Technology track is for educators who desire an overview of digital tools and how they can be integrated into all subject areas. This track will explore digital storytelling with video, enhancing understanding and meaning through audio, images and their impact on cognition, podcasting as an engaging tool that strengthen learning, plus subject specific sessions. Participants will learn to use digital tools and put their new skills to work as they develop collaborative projects with a team of educators. This track is for all EETT Grant recipients unless they have attended this session previously.
Software Specifications for Laptops
Participants in this track will learn the ins and outs of the Flash CS3 interface. How to use all of Flash CS3's essential features, such as text, graphics, animation, actionscript, video and sound effectively to design a website. Participants will then optimize and publish the Flash movies for the web.
(This is an advanced course and participants should have a good foundation in computer use)
The Teaching and Learning Institutes meet for four days (32 hours), Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost $500 per participant.
