Florida Digital Educator Graduate Certificate
Overview
The Florida Digital Educator graduate certificate is designed for teachers, media specialists, technology specialists, administrators and other educational professionals who recognize the importance of integrating technology into K-12 curriculum. This certificate provides knowledge and skills needed to effectively develop lessons using software tools. The coursework addresses hardware, software, digital audio, digital video, digital imaging, planning, training techniques, assessment and evaluation with a hands-on focus.
The result is a graduate certificate that can be independent or act as a gateway to a graduate degree in Instructional Technology (Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate). Credit hours can also be used for Florida Teacher Re-certification.
Intended Enrollment
This certificate is designed for education professionals who wish to become prepared to integrate technology tools into classroom curriculum. Courses will be available in the evenings, summer, weekends, or online. The entire certificate may be earned online.

Admission Requirements
You must first have completed a baccalaureate degree at a regionally accredited college or university. Then, submit a Graduate Certificate Departmental Approval form and obtain permission from the IT graduate certificate coordinator.
