Integrating Technology, Mathematics, Agriculture and the Everglades in Elementary Science Curriculum

Today’s agribusiness requires a high level of technical skills in order for a person to obtain a job above entry level. GPS systems, laptops, and scientific experimentation are critical components of the agricultural industries. This project aims to change the learning environment in 4th and 5th grade classes at 3 elementary schools. The goal is for laptop computers to become as vital to a classroom as textbooks. Hendry County will work with the Endeavour Academy on summer science seminars
