The project will support student achievement through use of mobile learning devices in the science classroom. Using elementary, middle, and high schools, integrated technology and science curriculum will span all four NGSSS Bodies of Knowledge for science. Sci-Tech involves 16 Differentiated Accountability (DA) schools with demonstrated gaps in student achievement and two mentor schools. Sci-Tech is a research-based model with evidence based positive outcomes. The inclusion of schools within a strong feeder pattern is expected to provide sustained long-term achievement gains.
