• TOY challenge

  The Sally Ride Science Club and Smith College have launched TOY challenge, a national toy design competition to encourage middle school students' interest in engineering. The registration deadline is Nov. 15, 2002, and the entry submission deadline is Jan. 31, 2003. Winners will receive a week at Space Camp, a personalized Hasbro action figure, a tour of the Hasbro facility and a VIP tour of NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
