Project:: 21st Century Teachers in 21st Century Classrooms
Synopsis:: The project will: 1) provide 36 teachers with- a tablet PC, wireless LCD projector, and a Mimio interactive board, and an AV cart for their laptop and projector, 2) provide each school with a set of 10 Canon Digital video cameras and wireless microphones, 3) provide one day training on the use and maintenance of the tablet PC, projector and Mimio prior to the Teaching and Learning Institute, 4) provide training to those teachers and administrators participating in the program with 4 days of Teaching and Learning Institute, 5) provide a week of training during the summer through the district staff on project-based learning, podcasting, Web 2.0 tools and other resources available…
