Henry Edward Perrine
Henry Perrine was a horticulturalist who promoted the cultivation of tropical plant species. He served as United States Consul in Campeche, Mexico. He lived in the Florida Keys after co-founding the Tropical Plant Company. Part of Perrine's land grant eventually became the community of Perrine, Florida.
