R.E.C. Stearns
Robert Edwards Carter Stearns was a naturalist and the editor of Pacific Methodist. In 1862 he served as Deputy Clerk of the Supreme Court of California. Stearns is remembered for writing several articles and essays for the American Naturalist; “Rambles in Florida” was his first contribution.
