FCAT...It's a Jungle Out There!



Make a presentation to assist students with taking the FCAT test.

Objectives

  • Students will use knowledge and experience to tell about FCAT test taking tips.
  • Students will use multimedia to tell about FCAT test taking tips.
  • Students will use effective speaking strategies.

Procedure

  • Give a group of students a digital camera for the day.
  • Have them take pictures of students demonstrating FCAT test taking tips throughout the day.
  • Use the pictures to create a movie.
  • Add text and voice over's to describe the test taking tips.

  • Digital Cameras
  • iMovie or Presentation software (AppleWorks slide show, PowerPoint, etc.)

 

Alternatives/Extensions

  • Present the movie to the school in preparation for FCAT test or other standardized test.
