Make a video to demonstrate how to dissect a fetal pig.

Objectives

• Students will share with other students the proper techniques for fetal pig dissection.
• Students will use technology, both with cameras and computer software to produce a quality product.
• Students will use effective writing and reading fluency to get an idea across to a group of other students.

Procedure

• Have students read the manual on how to dissect a fetal pig.
• Discuss the steps and make a plan to share the correct dissection procedures with the class.
• Write out the plan.
• Do the actual dissection and video tape it.
• Import video into the computer.
• Use i-movie to edit and add text.
• Share the video with the class as a preparation for class dissection.
