Description: This is a plan of the Parliament House in Budapest, Hungary. It is an example of Modern Architecture. Construction lasted from 1885 to 1902. The Parliament House is located on Pest's Riverbank. The building is a symbol of Hungary's independence. "The plan [for the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, England] in itself is a stroke of genius, and had been more or less imitated in buildings for similar purposes all over the world; the most important example, the Parliament House of Budapest, being almost a literal copy".
