Description: A map of the Battle of Blenheim, Bavaria, during the War of the Spanish Succession (1701–1714). The battle, fought on 13 August, 1704 between the allied British–Austrian forces and the Franco–Bavarian forces ended as a decisive victory for the British–Austrians. This map shows the positions of the Austrians under Prince Eugene of Savoy, the British under the Duke of Marlborough, and the French under Duc de Tallard and Ferdinand de Marsin, as well as the town of Blenheim and the Danube River.
