Master Digital Educators (MDEs) are a part of the Florida Digital Educator program. The MDE's are trained by the program staff with a focus on technology integration, project based learning, action research and large scale professional development for statewide impact. MDE's will also be given the opportunity to participate in statewide research initiatives; local, state, regional and national advocacy through conferences, organizations/associations; creation,production and evaluation of digital media assets and technologies; and ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
The Master Digital Educator Program is part of the Florida Digital Educator program. These programs are administered by the Florida Center for Instructional Technology (FCIT) , located in the College of Education at the University of South Florida. These programs are statewide initiatives of Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Instruction and Innovation.
