Student/Picture Match Game

Use Kidspiration as a tool to help students learn each other's names.

Objectives

  • Students will use viewing strategies effectively.

Procedure

  • Take pictures of the students with a digital camera and import them into Kidspiration.
  • Create a template that contains the pictures of your students on one side and their names written on the other.
  • When students open the template, they can match the pictures with the names.

Alternatives/Extensions

  • Instead of putting names in the template, put the first letter of all the names in your class. As you say the names of the students, have them match the pictures to the first letter.
