A motor vehicle wheel track sanding device including a sand storage tank, a hoper mounted over a wheel of a motor vehicle, a pipe connecting the interior of the hopper to the storage chamber, an auger disposed within the pipe for transferring the sand from the storage tank to the hopper, and a motor for rotating auger.
