Personal Timeline

Use Timeliner to have students make timelines of important events in their lives.

Objectives

  • Students will create a timeline of their own lives.

Procedure

  • Have students interview their families to find seven important events in their lives.
  • Have students enter these events in their timelines.

  • Use keyboards and other common input and output devices (including adaptive devices when necessary) efficiently and effectively.

  • Use technology resources (e.g., calculators, data collection probes, videos, educational software) for problem solving, self-directed learning, and extended learning activities.

  • Students can print their timelines or show them as a slide show. As students share their work, they should explain what they feel is the most important event in their lives.
