Water Conservation
Make iMovies that allow students to share their knowledge of the importance of water conservation.
Objectives
- Students will understand that the activities of humans affect the environment.
- Students will understand how scarcity affects the choices people make about water in everyday situations.
Procedure
- Give students a glimpse into what the future holds if we do not conserve water by showing your students the movie, "What Happened to All the Water?"
- Create skits about water, uses of water, the water cycle, ways to conserve water, etc.
- Create an iMovie by recording the skits with a digital camcorder and editing them with iMovie.

Alternatives/Extensions
- As students are learning about water, interview them about why it's important to save water and what they can do to conserve water. Use the clips in your finished product.
