Learning Abstract Concepts
Students will create a movie with photos, graphics and music that depicts an abstract concept.
Objectives
- Students will create iMovies depicting abstract concepts.
Procedure
- The class will discuss abstract concepts
- The class will brainstorm and list numerous abstract concepts (i.e., sorrow, future, wishes, infinity)
- Each student will use the internet to find visuals they feel represents the concept
- Students will compile the photos/graphics/music into an iMovie

- Students could evaluate the accuracy of the depictions by guessing what the concept is.
