Description: The Slender Spiked Fescue (Festuca loliacea) is species nearly allied to the tall fescue, and possesses much the same qualities. Growing in moist, rich meadows it forms a good, permnent pasture grass, However it is of little value for cultivation. A magnified flower is shown here.
