The capitals of these pilasters, viewed from slightly below, are decorated with upturned volutes, and acanthus leaves. These pilasters are on the exterior wall of the David W. Dyer Federal Building, which is also known as the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse (not to be confused with the Old U.S. Post Office). The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
