Flower of an Oblongleaf Twinflower Plant

This photo of a flower of an oblongleaf twinflower (Dyschoriste oblongifolia) plant was taken at the USF Botanical Gardens. Oblongleaf twinflowers remain dormant in winter and produce bluish-lavender flowers from spring to fall.
