Pictured is the granite monument provided by Professor Shigetaka Shiga, commemorating the battle at the Alamo. Upon the stone is inscribed a poem, composed in the classical Chinese, which compares the Alamo and its heroes to a famous incident in Japanese history (The Siege of Nagashino Castle).
