Multiple Horsetail Stems with Strobili

This photo shows multiple horsetail (Equisetum hyemale) stems and was taken at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. Strobili can be seen on the ends of the stems; they contain sporangium which store spores and are used to reproduce.
