This is the Abe Rubel House, at 1109 Jackson Street. The house was built in 1904. The brick house is built in a Neoclassical style, with Georgian Revival influences, which is frequently called Colonial Revival in areas where English
colonists predominated.
There are three gabled dormers on the roof, each with cornice returns. The central dormer has a Palladian window. There are two brick chimneys on the roof.Galleries:Colonial Revival, Corinth, Views of Houses, ExteriorKeywords:abe rubel house, brick chimney, brick house, colonial revival, corinth, cornice returns, dormer, gabled dormer, georgian revival, house, mississippi, neoclassical, palladian windowPhoto Location: Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 10/31/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.01F Number: 18Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 34°56'03.32"N 88°31'20.17"WPicture Number: 20628
