This is an engraving of St. Anthony by German artist Albrecht Dürer in 1519. It shows a view of a view of a fortified town that is similar to the “Burg” at Nuremburg, Germany. In the foreground is St. Anthony the Hermit absorbed in devotion with a double cross beside him that he planted.
