This is a 1934 architectural design of the cross-section on X-X of Fort Matanzas. The plan details the dimensions and location of the tower parapet, cement roof, ceiling, opening into circular space, first and second floor, sentry box (garita). In addition, the plans specify the footings be built from coquina stone. The location of the stairs leading to the gundeck are specified, including the steps onto the roof.
