This is a 1934 architectural design of the east elevation of Fort Matanzas. The plan specifies the structure be built with coquina stone and gives the location of the sentry box (garita) and stairs leading to the gundeck. The dimensions of the stairs leading to the observation deck are specified, including the steps onto the roof.
