This is a 1934 architectural design of the north elevation of Fort Matanzas. The plan details the steps to the observation deck (roof), sentry box (garita), and specifies the dimensions and location of the first and second floor windows. The first floor is used for the soldier's quarters and second floor is used for the officer's quarter. The structure is to be built with coquina stone.
