Bominaco, Oratory of San Pellegrino, Calendar, April to June
A calendar is painted on both sides of the pointed barrel vault of the choir, just above the springing of the vault. It includes figures of the months, a liturgical calendar of feasts and – in the trefoil lunettes above the feastdays – the signs of the zodiac. The months from January to June are on the north side with the zodiac signs from Aquarius to Cancer. These are the figures of the months of April, May, and June.
