Bominaco, Oratory of San Pellegrino, Massacre of the Innocents, Entry into Jerusalem, Washing of the Feet of the Apostles
On the west wall of the church, to the right of the entrance, the scene of Jesus’ washing the feet of the apostles at the Last Supper is in the lowest register. Jesus’ Entry into Jerusalem is above that. Both scenes form part of a cycle of the Passion that continues on the adjacent north wall. At the very top of the west wall, the damaged scene may portray the Massacre of the Innocents, alongside a medallion of the Lamb of God ( above the window and not visible in this photo)
