A Close-Up of an Ammunition Pouch on a Bronze Sculpture of a Soldier
This bronze sculpture, at Corinth Contraband Camp, is known as “USCT” (an acronym for United States Colored Troops). The bronze figures in the park all depict some facet of daily life, from when the camp was active. This photograph provides a close-up of the soldier's bandolier pouch, which was likely where he stored his ammunition. The pouch has a badge that is embossed with a US.Galleries:Bronzes, Corinth Contraband CampKeywords:ammunition pouch, badge, bandolier pouch, bronze sculpture, civil war soldier, corinth, corinth contraband camp, mississippi, soldier, union army soldier, united states colored troops, usctPhoto Location: Corinth Contraband Camp, Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Nathan WolkenhauerDate of Photo: 10/29/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.003125F Number: 4Original Dimensions: 3234×3744Picture Orientation: PortraitGPS Coordinates: 34°56'09.10"N 88°30'09.83"WPicture Number: 20916
