This is the Phillips-Nelson-Williams Home, at 1302 Taylor Street. This house was built in 1885, by Isom Phillips, with major additions made the new owner, Samuel L. Nelson, in 1887. The house was later acquired by Bailey Williams The style of the house is Neoclassical. This location was also the site of Battery Powell, during the Battle of Corinth.
