A Fallen Tabby Wall

A Fallen Tabby Wall

This section of tabby wall has fallen, into what was the interior space of Braden Castle. The tabby walls were erected by pouring the lime, sand, and shell mixture into a form. Once the tabby hardened, the wooden form was removed, and used for the next course. The separate courses can be seen in this photograph.
