This section of tabby wall has fallen, into what was the interior space of Braden Castle. The tabby walls were erected by pouring the lime, sand, and shell mixture into a form. Once the tabby hardened, the wooden form was removed, and used for the next course. The separate courses can be seen in this photograph.Galleries:Bradenton, Manatee, TabbyKeywords:braden castle, bradenton, florida, joseph addison braden, tabby blocks, tabby wallsPhoto Location: Bradenton, FloridaPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 11/21/2008Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5DExposure Time: 0.008F Number: 8Original Dimensions: 2571×3858Picture Orientation: PortraitGPS Coordinates: 27°29'47.14"N 82°31'49.35"WPicture Number: 25251
