This is a view of two cannons (Spanish 6-pound, cast iron) and their wooden carriages on the battlements of Fort Matanzas as they have been positioned to defend the Matanzas inlet. The fort is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as Fort Matanzas National Monument.
