A Unique Congregational Church in Cocoanut Grove, Florida
The masonry building shown in this image is the Plymouth Congregational Church. The church shows elements of the Mission Revival Style, including the curved gables and the two square bell towers with high domes. The front door is more than three hundred seventy-five years old, and was originally part of a monastery in Europe. The stone used to construct the building was local oolitic limestone.
